I've been very fond of my little teal water bottle for the past few years it's served me. It is a Philips GoZero water bottle with built in UV sanitization. Pretty much the first water bottle I've actually used long term because it literally never smells.

However just a few days ago, the poor thing suddenly showed its age, with its rubber handle suddenly snapping while I was carrying it.

Ain't that sad

As you can see, it has these knobs at the side which keep the strap connected to the bottle.

As my mom discovered, turns out you can simply unscrew them out, just needs the appropriate amount of leverage to overcome the locktite on the screw.

Once you've got the knobs out, all you have to do is just get any strap (in my case got some faux leather lying around), punch holes in them, and your bottle is as good as new!

Just putting this out here on the internet since I've never seen anyone mention this before.

Good as new.
